Waste of time, if I wanted to see pictures of colors on walls I can pick up a color brochure at a store. No option to use your own pictures of your rooms like other apps. No option for kids rooms, really?
I scan a barcode, and it finds it perfectly, listing the name and number of the color. When I go into "explore color", and enter that exact same number it cant find it. Unfortunately, the color I actually want to find I dont have the barcode for, just the number so this app is useless to me.
The colors in the app are strikingly different that what you will see on wall or even on swatch. I know that it has to do with light shining thorough but kind of useless.
this is actually terrible.
Terrible app!!!! I wasted so much money buying colors that look nothing like what they do on the app!!! Dont trust this app!!!!
Finds a similar paint but not the exact paint...do not trust the app
I love this app so much. Its very helpful and makes painting our home so much easier!
It is useless it tried to send me 46 miles away for a Home Depot. And we have one in my home town. I was interested in the concrete stains and there isnt any info on the entire app...
Funny that it allowed you to use your own photo to match color... Yet it doesnt let you see a color you choose in your own picture. I have other paint softwares that does just that. Frustrating because this is the paint I like. Please add feature & I will return 5*****!!
Just shows you samples of rooms and the possible colors. A little difficult to navigate and Im pretty good with all tech. I was wanting to add my room to the app and change colors on it and this app doesnt allow that feature.
This is a 5* app trapped in a 2* body. If you can add the ability to let me see paint options in a photo I take then Ill update my review. Nobody cares how the paint looks in somebody elses room, they want to see it in their room.
Tried scanning 3 different barcodes on the back of 3 different paint chips but I kept getting the error code saying that the colors are unavailable for download. However the back of the paint chips say "scan the barcode with the COLORSMART BY BEHR scanner to see how your color looks in a room". This scanner feature was the only reason I downloaded this app, making the app useless for me
Hard to move back Not easy to apply selected color. Great idea bad programming. Home Depot . What else can one expect.
This app would be a million times better if you could upload your own photo and try the paint colors out on it. The way it is now, is pretty much useless. Although, the color matching is a nice feature.
I love this app! I am no expert picking color pallets and this app does all the work. The fact that you can preview colors in a room saves time and lets you visualize your picks so you can narrow and finalize and save your projects.
Completely useless! Why do I care what other rooms I am not painting look like in different colors.
Yes, you can preview paint colors in the programs own home images. But - qI want to see what it would look like on my own wall. This is not complicated to do for programs out there today. The app lets you take a photo of whatever room, but not preview the paint color on the wall. Im confused. Why is the picture option there at all?
I was looking for an app that I could use a photo and upload in the app that I could "test" paint colors on a specific wall. You can only use the "pre uploaded" photos to test colors on. You can however upload your own photo for color matching.
As others have stated, this app will not show colors on "your" walls, just more pictures. What struck me was how terribly the color match functioned. As a test, I tried photographing a shade of blue I wanted to match. No matter what lighting I used, the colors were way off. No blues, just grays and occasionally a mauve-like color or lilac. Next I tried photographing a Behr "blues" sample card. Again, I tried multiple lighting configurations, trying over and over to get in the ballpark of the sample. At least I sometimes got shades of blue in addition to the usual grays, but never the actual sample color. In addition, I noticed that the preview of my photo was consistently more vivid than the following version of the photo on which you select the area for color match, giving necessarily muted versions of any photo I provided and therefore consistently inaccurate matches. I gave it a couple of stars for its utility as a database of Behr colors, but other features are essentially non-functioning.
