Its nice to be able to use the color grid to select a color and then you can make adjustments from there. But once you have selected a color, it should let you move from that color to lighter or darker, or cooler or warmer, colors directly from that colors page. It seems the only way to look at similar colors is to actually go back to the color grid, at which point youve lost track of what color you were looking at in the first place.
You should also be able to select a color on the palettes they offer and then go to that colors page as an independent color. If youre looking at the palette, there is no way to save just one color from there as a favorite. Youd have to note the color name, go back to explore, and type it in to get to it.
The room examples that they have are all very busy, with lots of furniture and accessories, and you cannot change the color on anything but the walls. You cannot change the couch color to look more like yours, or the curtains, for instance, or even the trim, which is silly.
It also doesnt seem to save favorites from one device to the next.
One note about the color match: you may get a different color depending on which part of the photograph you select (which makes sense nothing is truly just "one color" in a photo, there are always shades and gradients). Those who are trying to use it to get an exact match may need to try a couple of different spots. And then of course, the fact is that what appears on the device screen is not exactly the same thing you are going to see in real life.
