App was easy to use but it recommended a color that Home Depot said was discontinued. And they didnt have a way to find something close. Home Depot staff scoffed at the app.

So two changes. Average over area to find "true white" then average over area to find the color. Finally, make sure that the data for the swatches were also taken using the same method. This app cannot work unless there is white that is tagged as true white used to correct for lighting. Held up the swatches in sunlight and the app couldnt detect them correctly. Its terrible how simple it would be to apply the color offset just by making the user hold a piece of paper in the view to adjust. The other issue is that on textured walls, the color cannot be picked up correctly, so an average over an area of the wall needs to be taken. This could be done by cropping a section of a picture in a frame then just literally taking an average of the rgb values. Pretty sure this was done by some intern with little experience or farmed out to some company that was under-staffed and didnt give two cares whether or not it functioned correctly.

The idea is awesome and parts of the app work, but I just spent 15 minutes trying to scan my barcode and it just doesnt work. Bugs needs to be fixed.

I got the app and it was a Huge ripoff awful. Who would do that!! The commercial says you can upload a pic onto your phone. But of course you cant. News Flash ( never listen to commercials ).

Um maybe the developer should try this app. You cant preview the picture I took of the room I wanted to paint but preview the color first. No stars.

Loaded this app because I thought it would let me paint the walls on my photos. IT WONT. It should be easy to do a color replacement on the photo. This would make it a great app. As it is its just another color app. Not very useful.

Try Sherwin Williams Colorsnap if you want to upload your photos and try new colors on your walls. In this app you can upload photos to match Behr colors to the wall colors you currently have. For this reason I found the app less useful for my needs.

I had high hopes that this app would be much more useful. Disappointing.... As noted by another reviewer, I was expecting an ability to drop in Behr colors to my room pic for a quick preview.

Not worth the time, doesnt work as advertised.

Very disappointed in this app. Preview says you can use your own pictures, but obviously since I am not an IT person, it is out of this normal persons reach.

Excellent scanner for color match This would have cast thousands of dollars years ago . Mike D Behr is the best

Colors on this app are not matching at all. In app they look way lighter than actual colors in store.

The commercial implies you can use your own room, I sure dont see that in reality

ColorSmart. Wow! I have zilch bad results.

The idea is fantastic! Highly recommend you use this along with a paint brochure though, whites, yellows and greens are not even close on the color match.

Didnt believe it but I guess its true. You cant take a picture of your room and change wall colors based on Behr paint colors. You can only color match existing your wall color. (And, better get the white balance exactly correct in your pic or suggested paint colors will be off).

You would thinkBEHR would let you see a color on picture of your own wall but not possible - making app useless

Could not select colors or put them where I wanted too. Problems from the start.
